Taproom Closing

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

Dear Friends,

As we approach our anniversary in the taproom (and the end of our lease on the beautiful space), Bent Kettle Brewing has decided not to renew its lease.  My hard working wife, Connie Meyer, and I have decided to retire from operating the taproom.  It’s been quite a year and we have incredible memories from our Bent Kettle Taproom experience.  Most notable are two things:

  1. Watching our extraordinary staffer, Devon Rowley, learn and grow in all aspects of the operation.  She not only knows what to do, she anticipates every need.  She’s dedicated, hard-working, smart, reliable, flexible, kind, and fun.  She’s also a true beer aficionado.  We couldn’t have asked for a better team member.
  2. Meeting so many special people who’ve stepped through our doors and spent a few minutes…or many hours with us.  Beer lovers who ventured here to try our beers, those folks who don’t like beer, and everyone in between—it was our privilege to serve you all.    We hope you’ll each remember our taproom and hospitality fondly.

Our last day of taproom operations will be Sunday, December 3.  We will keep our same hours throughout our last few weeks:  Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 3 to 6 p.m.  We hope you’ll stop by for one more beer!

We are truly grateful for all the support over the last year.  Thank you!

Sincerely,
Jim Jorgenson
